Kerry Washington. What a cute cute lady. And I have yet to be utterly disappointed in an outfit she dons...which is why I wasn't surprised to see this straightforward yet nicely put together ensemble she had on when she graced GMA a while back.

Short, a-line leather skirt with a bit of flounce? Check.

Cream, thick knit boxy sweater? Check.

Opaque black tights? Check.

Amazing Christian Louboutin high heeled brogues? Well, not quite. But we do the best we can.

Style stalk away, shop away...much more affordably.

Celebrity Style Stalker: Lea Michele

90% of the time, I feel like Lea Michele really kills it in the fashion department. Every once in a while she dons something exceptionally strange, but for the most part, girlfriend does it up right.

And this wrap dress was no exception. The cut is flawless, the color looks lovely with her skin tone and I want to steal that beaded clutch rightnow.

In celeb-spiration, I've been stalking some really pretty tan and cream dresses that would fancy right up for the impending holidays...and transition right into spring and summer with a change up of shoes and accessories. This dress from ASOS is a pretty solid dupe for Lea Michele's (surely expensive, designer) version.

Celebrity Style Stalker: Emma Stone

I doubt I'm alone in saying that I have a bit of a crush on Emma Stone. She's adorable, well-spoken and a great actress. You don't see photos of her being carried out of nightclub, completely and utterly tanked. I have yet to see an inappropriate flash of a body part in any red carpet photo. She seems like one cool chick. A+, Emma.

With that being said, girlfriend also has a super cool sense of style. She's fashion forward without sporting a swan-like Bjork dress to garner attention. Usually she's rockin' some type of well-cut dress or pants with a modern spin. Like the simple but lovely ensemble below. Thus, the reason for (style) stalking Emma Stone.

While I prefer her locks a lovely red, the blond suits her nicely as well. Emma is sporting a black leather top from J Brand black leather J Brand top and $95 Melinda Maria earrings. Nice. I would have liked if People.com let us know who the jeans were by, but it I'm a betting woman, I'd say J Brand as well.

Currently Craving: Tangerine Jeans (dammit, Kate Middleton)

Oh Kate Middleton. Whatever you wear is going to be news, whether it's a hoodie or a ball gown. But she really amped up the air waves when she sported a pair of "tangerine skinny jeans" a few weeks back while in London visiting the women's Olympic field hockey team.

Normally I'm not one to go all monkey see, monkey do, but as soon as I saw a picture of these jeans on Ms. Middleton I was all over it. Yes, my crazy little brain said, you NEED a pair of skinny jeans just like that for spring and summer. Just imagine how many ensembles you'll be able to put together around those magical jeans.

So I did it. I bought some tangerine jeans (well, pants). An affordable pair, I might add. I shopped around and snagged BB Dakota's Maddox pants in Poppy from Karmaloop.com.

My thoughts? I like them. Do they fit as well as a pair of JBrand skinnies? Not really, but with this bright of a shade, I'm happy with them. They stretch, they flatter and they fit. And what to wear with them you may ask? Let me count the ways...

Celebrity Style Stalker: Angelina Jolie

It brings me joy when I see a simple, gorgeous celebrity style. It can be tough to find star ensembles that are easily replicated with "fairly priced clothing." i.e. I don't know to many people who can run to their closet on a whim and fetch Ms. Jolie's Ferragamo silk top, leather skirt and pumps.

It's been quite a while since I've posted about some celebrity style stalking...about time, don't you think?!

I'm a big fan of Mila Kunis - she's lovely, talented and has a pretty incredible fashion sense...or stylist. One of the two. Regardless, she wears clothes beautifully and the ensemble below is gorgeous. Thus the inspiration for a little style stalking set!

Welcome to Wednesday!

It's been a while since I've posted a celeb style stalker, but Nicole Richie looked so lovely in her Givenchy chocolate brown leather dress, I just had to recreate.

The set I created is centered around a black leather-ish BCBG dress...chocolate brown just wasn't going to happen in a feasible price range. So, here's what I came up with, ensemble, makeup and all! What do you think? Doesn't Nicole look chic?

I haven't done a celebrity style stalker post in a while....and Molly Sims looked so lovely here that I just couldn't resist!

Celebrity Style Stalker: MTV Movie Awards

Hi all! It's time for some style stalkin'!

These lovely ladies were dressed to the nines for the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday and I wanted to offer up a few inspired dresses!

First up is the adorable and talented, Anna Kendrick...

I love the diaphanous chiffon and the sweet cut on this dress. The pattern is also a bit nutty, but because it's short and sweet, I can certainly handle it. And do you see her shoes - fierce!

While this dress is not as formal, the chiffon looks lovely and it's certainly a fun print!

Or, if you're a long dress kinda gal...here's a lovely, albeit bright, chiffon number...


Next up is the gorgeous Scarlet Johannson in a stunning green lace sheath. I love her whole look here...the emerald green is stunning, the fit is impeccable and her hair and makeup are spot on.
