Ok ok, so normally I reserve Fridays for WTF Friday but I have to take 30 seconds to break out my jazz hands & get really excited for this weekend...why, you ask?!
Well, on Saturday I get to meet Carrie Underwood before her concert in Charlotte!
Holy sheet. This is all because of vitaminwater & their local community ties and I am so so so excited & thankful. Can you tell?!
Because of vitaminwater's overall fabulosity I also have pretty kick ass seats.
So...two comments & a question for y'all...
1) I love vitaminwater...seriously. That goes for their products (yay for stevia) & their local focus.
2) I adore Carrie Underwood's music. Adore.
3) What should I wear? Chime in pretty please. I'm thinking skinny jeans, heels and a light weight silky top. Thoughts?!
Happy weekend!

Lastly, Hair & Body!
Well, while I certainly have a long list of items I'm lusting after...I'll probably just pick up a few things that I'm running low on. What are you craving for the Sephora F&F promo?

Product Review: OPI Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous, A-
Happy Monday to all!
A few weeks back I was enjoying a lovely pedicure and I spied this gorgeous, sparkly, gunmetal gray polish by OPI titled: Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous!
Details from OPI:
Part of the Swiss Collection.
The Good: It's actually darker than it appears on the OPI website, more closely shaded to the photo above. It's not uber sparkly, but just enough to add a little punch. PLUS, you can score this on Amazon for a total steal right now.
The Bad: Not much here...all polish chips, but because this particular shade is a bit more sparklified it may chip more quickly? Just a guess, though!
The Verdict: A-! I'm a big fan of this shimmery, dark gray color on toes and fingers.

WTF Friday: Diamond Teeth
Hey everyone! Aren't you glad it's Friday?!
Up for WTFdom today is first and foremost, Mr. Kayne West...who was on Ellen yesterday showing off his diamond encrusted teeth. Yes, you read that correctly.
The bottom row of his teeth is encrusted with diamonds. And why? West says, “I just thought the diamonds were cooler,” he explained. “I used to always clean my jewelry with toothpaste anyway so it works out.” And though he justifies his decision by saying, “There are some things rock stars are supposed to do." Wow. That's a master of douchbaggery if I've ever seen one.
And you know, I had a few other WTF candidates in mind, but I don't even think it's fair to put them in the same post as this. We will give Kayne a post of his own. I think he deserves it.

Fall Shoe Swoon at DSW.com
So, because of the few shoe missions as of late, I (of course) got pulled into staring at lovely fall shoes. Ooops.
Whether you're falling for flats or begging for booties, DSW sure does have quite the selection right now. I may or may not have purchased a few pairs of said lovelies to supplement my fall wardrobe.
And for your viewing pleasure...some pretty fab options at DSW.com. By the way, I received a card in the mail for $20 off any $49+ purchase at the site - the code is 866. I already used mine, but I imagine if you have a DSW Rewards account, it will work for you too. Happy shoe shopping!

Product Review: Hems Gems, A-
Hellllllooooooo friends!
Happy Monday to all. Today's review centers around a really nifty product called Hem Gems. For those of you who are vertically challenged like me, or just seek more length options with your denim, these little babies are fa-bu-lous. A few weeks ago, I took the plunge and purchased the Classic Rivet Hem Gems in Gold.
How It Works: (straight from the Hem Gems website)
And my review...
The Good: Such a cool product! The push pin type Hem Gems absolutely keep the internal cuff in place. Plus the gold rivets look pretty chic and non-obtrusive.
The Bad: Even though they give you clear instructions, removing the backing from the Hem Gems proved to be a bit difficult. Read the instructions, folks. Plus, while $20 isn't super expensive, it's not cheap for a wee product such as this.
The Verdict: A-! A really solid product that I certainly recommend to my not so tall friends and the ladies who are jean hoarders like me!

Product Review: L'Oreal Sublime Bronze One Day Instant Tanning Gel, B
Hey friends!
So, over the weekend I helped out at a pop culture themed event and I decided to go as Snooki. Yes, Snooki, of Jersey Shore fame.
So, I bought a long black wig, a Bumpit, lots of black eyeliner and a boatload of one day bronzer. I was careful as I didn't want to be that shade of tan/orange for any longer than the party. Thus, my decision to purchase L'Oreal Sublime Bronze One Day Instant Tanning Gel.
Here are the product details...
Sublime Bronze One Day instant tanning gel delivers a sheer tint of bronze color that lasts up to one day. This unique quick-drying formulation with natural caramel colorant and golden pearls gives skin a natural-looking sun-kissed glow. The no-mistakes formula washes away with soap and water.
How to use:
The Good: After layering many levels of tanning I was about halfway to Snooki's tan level, which was enough for the party! The gel smoothed on evenly and would have given me some nice color if applied in a normal, non-Snooki seeking manner. Oh, and it indeed washed off easily!
The Bad: It's a bit expensive, running $10-$12 (for 6.7 oz.) and it flaked a bit on my face. However, remember that I layered this product on for the Snooki effect. I don't think it would have flaked under normal circumstances.
The Result: This earns a B from me! The product stays true to its promises and delivers a golden tan. If you're looking to get Snooki-ized or just a very temporary, wash off tan, this is a solid product!
If you really, really want to see me Snooked up...see below!

WTF Friday: Grandma's Closet & Albino Gorillas
Hey everyone! Happy Friday to you all. Here's hoping you have a great weekend ahead.
Up for WTF'dom are two lovely ladies, each with eccentric styles that I occasionally adore, and yet occasionally abhore.
First up, the stunning and talented Rihanna...
Nevermind that the print hurts my eyes just a bit. Try to ignore the odd Mrs. Roper-like length of the dress. What kills me are the blue and black bobby socks with the red pumps. Now, I think some looks car handle sheer socks with pumps, or layered socks under boots but this looks ridic. Ri Ri, did your feet get chilly while sporting this ensemble? Ankles up, acceptable. Ankles down, fugtastic.
And then we have the adorable Ms. Mary Kate Olsen...
Hmm. MK, did you skin a blondie Big Foot? I don't mind faux furs, but it looks like you're giving one of those albino gorillas a piggy-back ride around town. Shave that fur, girlfriend.
That's it for today, folks! Happy weekend!
