Celebrities. Comebacks. And Fashion.

I try not to talk too much smack about celebrities. I don't know them, so it's frankly not very fair to completely unload on them. However, when celebs act like brats, idiots, and/or jerks, sometimes I just can't help myself. Regardless, I'm always a fan of a comeback - especially when it comes to style.

Enter Lindsay Lohan. Girlfriend is only 25 years old and has been to hell and back. And apparently she's trying to make a *comeback.* Again. Legal, moral and ethical issues aside, I've always been a huge fan of her red hair. Thus, I was pretty pumped to see that she very recently (finally) ditched the fried, platinum tresses and went back to her strawberry roots. Um, that's a 100% improvement already. I dig that jacket, too.

Another chicky who's been know to amply fill the category "hot mess," is Tara Reid. I'm not going to reminisce, but TR is in the soon-to-be-released American Reunion movie and she looks pretty lovely at the Australian premiere. Am I predicting that she'll all of a sudden earn herself Academy Award nominations and inspire world peace? No. But that gunmetal gray gown is a good start.

And, of course, no comeback post would be complete without some Britney Spears. Gone are the days of a shaved head mama, blasting an SUV with a golf club. She's revamped her life, reworked her music and probably found some really helpful meditation and medication. Plus, she seems to be happily engaged to her boo, Jason Trawick.

WTF Friday - L-insanity Does It Again

Happy Friday everyone! Hooray! *Friday dance*

Up for WTF Friday today is none other than the classic, the crazy Ms. LaLoca herself.

I mean...comon' Linds. *Bangs head on desk* She certainly has a bi-polar thing going on with her wardrobe. Once moment she's looking like a skank-a-roo and the next she's dressed in grandma's curtains and orthopedic shoes. WTF. You have such potential! Stop it and hire a stylist! Pretty please?

And then there is Forever21...which I really do appreciate for super cheap, trendy wear. But it is inevitable that they will crank out some superfug items like zee one below...

Ladies, feast your eyes on F21's Beaded Fringe Top. Whaaaaa?! It looks like a hair braider got a hold of a white tee and did some heinous things to it. Who in their RIGHT mind would sport this? Oh and if you want to see it on a human, look no further...

You can't even see her whole face but you know she's right about to say WTF did you put me in?

On a different note, I must say HAPPY HAPPY Birthday to my incredible husband! He doesn't read my blog every day, but hopefully he can save a moment to read this little public note of mush.

I have the most adorable, wonderful, warm, funny, intelligent, kind, loving & generous husband. I'm a lucky woman. Happy birthday, babe!

Here's hoping I don't burn the house down trying to cook dinner for you tonight!

WTF Friday!

Happy Friday to all! I'm super excited for the weekend as I'll be visiting a very good friend in Hot-lanta! She's one of those friends who loves to shop, eat and say inappropriate things - just like me!

So, speaking of inappropriate things - on to WTF Friday! I tried, and I mean surrriously tried, NOT to include L-insanity again this week. But guess what? I just couldn't avoid it. Her ensemble was just too atrocious. And on to Lindsay...

Oh, look! Lindsay missed her audition for Easy Rider and is doing her best to score the next role in The Matrix. Listen, I have no problem with well-tailored leather pants or even liquid leggings, but what's with the headpiece and the bulky leather jacket? Errrr....fail. Plus, I really support a healthy hair cut. Just sayin'...

And then there is Whitney Port. I typically enjoy Whitney's style, kind of whimsical chic. AND, when a lady has great legs, I agree she should work them. But not quite to this degree. Whitney, WTF - pantalones? We get it, you like short skirts. But one light breeze and you'll be having a Britney moment! !

These WTFs are not the worst offenses by any stretch of the imagination, but hey, it's good fodder for a Friday!

WTF Friday: L-insanity Lohan

Happy Friday everyone! It wouldn't be a WTF Friday without some L-insanity Lohan. Linsday is such a pretty young woman - she's also completely wacko. Her fashion choices have spanned from lovely to lazy, cute to crazy and gorgeous to gross. Sad to say - Linds is still riding the bi-polar fashion wagon.

Like the photos below. From left to right....great dress, Linds - nice work. OH - the shoes. WTF?! Nurse Betty found a platform. The center dress - gorgeous, love it - so chic, not a fan of the clunky black pumps, but I'll deal. And then we come to the third look. Apparently Chewbacca wants to be a rapper. Hammer please don't hurt 'em. Note to self and others - always know where your crotch and your caboose are located, do not lose them in your pantalones.

Oh Lindsay...girlfriend get it together. This edition of WTF features Ms. Lohan, yet again, looking a mess. Yikes.

Did she thief grandma's nightie, rip it up and make a fug tunic? Because that's what it looks like. I will say, at least her makeup looks a bit better than it has in other recent pics. But those clunky brown, open toe shoe-booties are just fugly...could she have found a worse color to pair with that dress?! Doubt it.

I really don't get this ensemble...ack. WTF, Lindsay?

WTF Friday: Lindsay Lohan and One Fug Coat...

Oh Lindsay, Lindsay Lindsay...what the hell are you wearing? Are you auditioning for a role in Chicago? Perhaps you're attempting a ho-ribble gangsta look for Halloween?

Remember the days when Lindsay dressed in lovely designer dresses and weighed more than 100 lbs.? That was a good look for her. Like this...good choice, Lohan.

Also, to celebrate WTF Friday, I also wanted to showcase a frightening coat made by BB Dakota that I found on Modcloth.com. I usually like BB Dakota's offerings and I love Modcloth.com, but WTF? Are we in Dances With Wolves? The Albuquerque Coat looks like it came straight out of a Geronimo's gift shop. Oh, and the description said that this coat will be featured in Cosmo's December issue...thanks, but I'll pass.
