Cubicle to Cocktails: Rockin' Chambray at Work

Hi everyone! Up for today's edition of Cubicle to Cocktails I'm featuring a classic chambray shirt. I like chambray because it can be dressed up or down, have sheen or sans-sheen and be worn in a variety of denim shades. The shirt shown below it a solid chambray with a slight sheen - this lends itself well to a business casual work environment.

Pair this little chambray beauty with a navy skirt, cognac leather belt and nude patent pumps and you are the queen of the hottest cubicle ever created. As for the cocktail look, I love adding a nude wedge and a flowered mini to add some youth and color to the look.

So, what do you think? Have you or will you rock the classic chambray at work?!

I don't care how 'in style' chambray is....I personally despise it. That being said, I love the looks you put together I'd just sub in an alternative button up. Great blog, as always.

I love it! Totally cute outfits! I wanted the ON chambray shirt, but they were all out so i'm still on the hunt for a good one.

I love Chambray, but then again "casual" is my middle name!

I love the belt you paired it with in the office look - can you tell I'm obsessed with belts at the moment haha.

JM - Thanks for visiting lady! I like streamlined chambray, I think it's a great neutral. I understand your view though - there are certain things (harem pants) that I will never be ok with, even if they are in style! To each her own!

Miss K - Thank you! I like my ON shirt, but I think there are many more great ones out there. ASOS had a bunch...

Jessica - Thanks for visiting! As I mentioned to JM, every look is not for every lady! :)

E - Your belt post is super cute :) J Crack has soooo many cute ones right now, too!
