In the spirit of Chicago, I wanted to share my favorite Windy City Cheap Thrills...and here they are:
- Garrett's Popcorn: Most.amazing.caramel corn.ever. Lines are out the door at all times...both locals and tourists completely lurve this place. (The cheese popcorn is also incredible...ok, it's all fabulous)
- Cubs Bleacher Seats: Ok, these aren't as cheap as they were years ago, but still....if you ever get a chance to head out to a Cubbies game, do so. The bleachers are really fun, albeit quite toasty!
- Hot dogs (at said Cubs game or Portillo's): Vienna beef. 'Nuff said.
- AKIRA: Again, not a super cheap shopping hub, but I found the most adorable tops, dresses and accessories at affordable prices. They have a great online site, too!
